Tradition, modernity, and upper-class elegance in the city centre of Pest

A classic downtown building modernised to meet the demands of the 2000s. This is what Prestige Hotel Budapest, a new hotel development project in district V, will look like. The owner Mazen Al Ramahi introduces their latest acquisition.

„I found a pure gemstone in the city centre, when I discovered this small building in Vigyázó Ferenc Street. I knew at a glance that we were going to start a lovely, interesting, and successful hotel project if we dreamt this classic, typical Budapest-style tenement were the youngest member of our hotel chain”– Mazen Al Ramahi, the owner of Boutique Hotel Budapest in Só Street and Continental Hotel Budapest in Dohány Street said.

Previous success stories, the same team

Mr. Ramahi knows no compromise to quality. He keeps an eye on all and in minute detail, including planning, construction, and operation at later stages of his hotels. In response to international trends, he opened Boutique Hotel in 2006 to give a boost to local urban “lifestyle” hotel development. Ever since its opening in 2010 Continental Hotel has been a winner of a number of awards recognizing its excellence in architecture and hotel industry as well as superiority in occupation rates compared to other urban hotels of the same standard in Budapest.

„The new hotel is named Prestige Hotel Budapest and was planned and has been constructed by the same team we have already had two other successful projects: Péter Hegedűs, architect, Virág Vörös and Csilla Sáfrány interior designers produce a great combination of traditional values already existing in a classic building and modernity giving birth to spaces and means meeting the demands of our age.”

The best of all, spiced with some gastronomical experience

„Before the opening scheduled to next spring not only builders and interior designers have been busy, but many other teams have also set to work, especially with focus on sales and marketing” – the owner said. There will be 85 rooms, a restaurant, and a wellness department available from next spring. As the classic hallways in the rotunda are preserved up to the sixth floor, guests can walk in the hallways around the atrium and wonder at the imposing internal space, the glass roof letting natural light flood in from above, and the exclusive Cavalli furniture in the lobby.
